At WICCI NATIONAL AVIATION COUNCIL , we collaborate for mutual benefit and shared goals with corporates, governments and other authorities to help develop sustainable value and supply chains as well as define an inclusive regulatory framework for the future Indian aviation industry. Aviation generates incredible socio-economic benefits for the diverse people of India, the government and the economy, large and small businesses, and travelers as well as other stakeholders. Thus, we look forward to collaborating with the government to coordinate industry and government needs, regulate our Indian Aviation Industry in a harmonized way and to govern and facilitate aviation systems and make aviation inclusive in India, keeping in mind safety and on-time-performance as our key priorities.

WICCI NAC works towards the following as aligned with the 17 SDGs for the 2030 targets as set by the UN: 

 

1. Developing best practices on corporate social responsibility and the environment

2. Advocating policymakers to ensure coherent, effective, and inclusive policies are in place

3. Promoting sustainable aviation fuels and technology innovation

4. Governing and developing systems and programs to improve sustainability performance and facilitate compliance with inclusive regulatory requirements.

 

We look forward to collaborating with airports in India to help develop sustainable infrastructures and bring about better connectivity for our future airport cities. Government agencies' projects require approximately 250 brownfield and greenfield airports. We help plan airports and infrastructure keeping in mind the complexity of future smart airport cities to support safe, functional, capacity-optimized, and inclusive user-friendly airport experiences.

 

We counter the ongoing turbulence by bringing about sustainable disruptive innovation through R&D, by capturing value in three key areas of growth, risk management, and return on capital based on McKinsey's Business of Sustainability model, in line with IATA future business aviation trends, our country's localization strategy, and Atmanirbhar Bharat reforms.
